Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me, and why I am running for Bonner County Commissioner in District 1. At a time when our beautiful county is facing unprecedented growth, I like many others have become increasingly frustrated by the tone and lack of direction in our county government. At a time when we need clear vision and good judgement to steer us into the future, we seem to dissolve into conflict.
I believe we need better strategic planning, more cooperation, and a positive focus on the needs of our county. I believe I can bring those leadership skills to our county. As a child raised in a military family, I learned early on, that service is key to protecting our way of life – and I have practiced that throughout my life.
Here is more about my background and qualifications.
I have a varied professional background, with a great deal of relevant career experience in business and management that I would bring to the job as a Bonner County Commissioner.
Malinda and I attend Cedar Hills Church. One of our passions is in mission work that our faith calls us to, and we’ve led multiple construction and medical missions to communities in need.
Now as we face unprecedented growth in our county, I want to use my education and business background to serve as your commissioner in District 1.
With good leadership, clear vision, and sound fiscal policy, we can manage growth positively. Our cost of services must be balanced with our received tax revenues for the good of our county.
I have the education, background and commitment to make a leadership contribution to Bonner County and I will work hard to earn your vote as your next Bonner County Commissioner in District 1. And I want to hear from you! I invite your questions, comments and feedback on any and all issues you believe will make Bonner County an even better place to live.
